It’s been thoroughly debunked for over half a year as a not-real story by everybody supposed to have been involved. A simple Google search for any part of the text of this hoax story will turn up proof, on the first page of links, that the story is utterly false…
… and still these chumps over at The Firearms Forum are posting it around and talking about “the story” as if it were real! Zut alors! Quel amusement. (That’s Gay Socialist for “boy, you will believe anything, won’t you?”)

A HA! And he also said “I,” not “We,” clearly indicating that he thinks that everybody in the state of Hawaii is a refugee from Palau!

You’ve figured out by now, if you have an IQ above 50, that this website is for a group, Americans for Freedom of Information, that DOES NOT exist. The e-mails you have been getting from your conservative Aunt Gertie proclaiming that Barack Obama’s real last name is Soetoro are FAKES.
Unfortunately, a number of Americans’ hatred toward Barack Obama seems to have cut off the blood supply to their brains, effectively lowering their IQ to just about 50. One of these folks left a comment here just the other day:
I received this email. I went to snopes to see what they knew. I read the claim that the website did not exist, until it was creadted to discredit the email. I decided to check for myself, and entered http://www.americansforfreedomofinformation.com. I wanted to read the debunking phrase for myself. Lo and behold, there was a website http://www.americansforfreedomofinformation.com/.
However, it wasn’t a site debunking the email, but one confirming it. If there had been a website (which normall must be registered for at least a year), that was a spoof, then how did the website I landed at SUPPORT the claim?
IF there is any conspiracy by people in power to cover-up Obama’s actual birthplace, I wouldn’t put it past them to be able to get Snopes to print the information they have on their site. Too bad. I’ve always looked to Snopes for the truth.

Another site of mine, is: www.AmericansForFreedomOfInformation.com. -Please note that I had nothing to do with the AP email that went out, claiming to be from an organization by this name. The email actually went out before the site began on, May eleventh, two thousand-nine.
Yes, that e-mail, the hoax e-mail, went out months before the creation of Debra Smith’s website. Debra Smith’s website, in turn, was created a week after this one.

Thanks to my insider status within the Barack Obama Birth Certificate Community, specifically the Committee on (Non)Existent Committees, I have obtained tonight a copy of the REAL and CERTIFIED Birth Certificate of Barack Hussein Obama. My source must remain anonymous because she is a highly privileged employee of the executive committee of the United Nations Security Council and fears for her life if her identity becomes known. But I can vouch that this document is REAL and CERTIFIED VERIFIABLE. This birth certificate of “Barry” aka “Barack” Obama Soetoro is as REAL as I am and bears as much PHYSICAL PROOF as there is for MY OWN EXISTENCE. The veracity of this birth certificate has also been vouchsafed for by a Certified Examiner the Society for American Forensic Engineers, whose Document of Examination and Certification can be found here.

An initial analysis of the contents of this birth certificate reveals that Barack Hussein Obama was born in SINGAPORE, not the UNITED STATES, and is therefore a British Citizen. Additionally, occupational detail reveal the association of mother Stanley Ann Dunham and father Barack Obama, Sr, with black supremacist, Marxist and Islamofascist movement activities at the time of the birth of the future “Barry Soetoro.” Is this a connection to the agenda of President Barack Obama today? You know, when a group like ours that does not exist sets out to not-actually release a report containing an utter lack of an Occidental College transcript for Barack Obama, it just amazes me. No, it’s not our utterly fictitious act that is so impressive. Any non-existent entity can not do anything, after all. Or after nothing at all, (not) actually. Sigh. Writing from nonexistence is a bit complicated.
But to get back on track, what really impresses me is that despite the multiple indications of the non-existence of the “Americans for Freedom of Information” group in gold-standard fact-check sites all over the web, for months on end reminding people that any claims by the “Americans for Freedom of Information” are utterly bogus and without a shred of documented evidence whatsoever, there are still some chumps out there taken in by all this!
Take “Walks With Whispers,” a fella who posts over at the fishingbuddy.com website. Why, he just cut and pasted the classic made-up hoax that pretends to be from the Associated Press and makes up the fake group “Americans for Freedom of Information” out of thin air… all to make the false claim that Barack Obama somehow registered at Occidental College as an Indonesian citizen.
Ya big silly, Walksy, ya gotta check these facts on Google if ya don’t want to look like a chump. Unfortunately, if ya looks like a chump and ya cuts and pastes like a chump, chances are you’re a chump.

Can you find any actual Occidental College application for Barack Obama or “Barry Soetoro”?
When you go to Google News or Newsbank or Lexis-Nexis or any other newspaper database, can you find any direct record of an actual Associated Press article regarding Barack Obama applying as “Barry Soetoro” to Occidential College as a foreign student?
Using the same method, can you find any record of any article in Britain’s Daily Mail with the headline “Obama Eligibility Questioned”?
The answer is no: no, you cannot.
Given that you cannot find these things — because they do not exist — what do you conclude?
Option A) That the story regarding Barack Obama registering as Indonesian “Barry Soetoro” at Occidental College is a hoax and a lie.
Option B) That the effort to suppress the truth about Barack Obama’s foreign origins is even more sweeping and nefarious than previously imagined, including the power to erase transcripts, records, organizations and multiple news stories entirely.
Earlier today, the people at Irregular Times attempted to pass off a “photograph” as evidence that Barack Obama was born in “Kenya,” and then to attribute it to we at the non-existent group Americans for Freedom of Information. This is false information! That photograph, attributed to we who do not exist, was NOT forged by Americans for Freedom of Information.
Let us correct the record. THIS is the photograph that was forged by the non-group Americans for Freedom of Information:
As you can clearly see, this fake photograph, the REAL fake photograph, does NOT show Barack Obama in Kenya. It shows him registering for his first day as a student at Occidental College, queing up in the line FOR INDONESIANS ONLY. Yes, Barry “Soetoro” is just a baby in this picture; even though he is the socialist love child of Malcolm X and a crypto-Muslim, you must admit he has always been precocious.
So there are the real non-facts, people. Let’s get them STRAIGHT!

Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.
This is typical and unremarkable as far as it goes. As a matter of non-fact, we who do not exist here at the completely fictitious Americans for Freedom of Information were rather disappointed in Mr. O’Connor’s presentation. Couldn’t he add some new juicy lies to supplement our lies? You know, something like this:
A source who wishes to remain anonymous for national security purposes informs me that Obama’s National Security Adviser has convened a Fox Eagle Priority One team of “fixers” to remove all sources on this story as soon as possible.
That would have been a great new fictional twist to add to this fake story. Then, see, other right-wing bloggers could link to O’Connor, and another layer of bloggers could link to those stories, then someone could post on Free Republic the question “Why Won’t Obama answer Questions About His Fox Eagle Coverup Program?,” and then FOX News could put a story on the air with the header, “Online Bursts With Rumors of High-Level Obama Birth Certificate Coverup. High Crime or Misdemeaner?” That would have been great! But no, O’Connor just cuts and pastes. Unimaginative. Drone-like. Still a useful chump, but kind of boring.
But wait, there’s more! David O’Connor redeems himself in the “comments” section, where he responds to his own article without waiting for anyone else to jump in first:

Do you want to see “proof” that Barack Obama applied for application to Occidental College under the name of “Barry Soetoro,” using an Indonesian passport? Unfortunately for those of you who live in the Real World, you won’t be able to find such “proof,” because such a thing never took place. But for those of us who do not exist, living in what some of you call FantasyLand, such “proof” is an easy thing to obtain. All we have to do is snap our non-existent fingers and — POOF! — the proof is fabricated just like that.
So for all those of you who are looking for “proof” to substantiate your fantasies that Barack Obama is a foreigner, a secret communist, or even a crypto-Muslim, we are happy to supply you with fabricated fodder.

We’d like to share something we found up here. It’s a video news release by an Associated Press journalist. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs, upon seeing this video, angrily declined comment, which is why you should conclude that the video is really onto something here.
Why have the mainstream media refused to report on this video? Except for the Associated Press, that is. Right! Because this video is really from the Associated Press. If anyone says otherwise, it’s a sign that they, too, are in on the conspiracy!
Read these tiny words very closely: the group Americans for Freedom of Information does not exist, just like the supposed "AP article" you keep cutting and pasting into e-mails to your irritated family does not exist, just like the "Daily Mail article" referenced in the fake "AP article" does not exist. They're all fabrications. Fakes. Hoaxes.
